Application modules - VisualENDOSCOPY

VisualENDOSCOPY is a dynamic electronic medical record for use in the endoscopy suite, allowing concurrent documentation by physician and technical support staff. Documentation is complete before the patient leaves the room. Menu-driven content feeds back on order entry decision support.

VisualENDOSCOPY is used by endoscopists, nurses and paramedical personnel to document endoscopy procedure activities. Documentation by physicians and nurses is seamlessly integrated through templates specific to the function of each member of the endoscopy team.  All documentation of patient care, including clinical signs data as well as the medication administration record may be accessed through the VisualENDOSCOPY screen.

A unique user interface allows the charting format to be configured to the needs of individual endoscopists as well as in relation to the type of procedure being performed. The documentation format supports the incorporation of endoscopy images into the electronic medical record.
